G_Suite (formerly GAFE) & SD#62 Teachers:

HOW DO GET STARTED:

  1. Get your briefing at your staff meeting or from the home page of this site “SD62 Privacy Briefing”
  2.  Our new G_Suite consent system has two components:
    1. The parent page – This is where parents login to provide and/or review consents for their children.
      1. The URL for this page is consent.sd62.bc.ca
    2. The staff page – This is where clerical and administrative staff can login and review consents, including searching for individual students.
      1. The URL for this page is consent.sd62.bc.ca/apps/consentforms
      2. Staff working from a computer within the school district can also access the staff page by going to consent.sd62.bc.ca and choosing the ‘Staff Login’ button. This button is only visible from computers within the school district.

  3. Once you have your account and if you want to use Google Classroom, you must now click on the Staff Acknowledgement form, HERE
  4. Your students can now log in, access everything Google and join your class.
  5. Enjoy!
